Where is PenTack® used?

PenTack® can be used at all types of asphalt pavements - as well at roads as in airports. However, certain conditions must be complied before we recommend a PenTack® sealing:

 

The asphalt surface might:

  • be dried out
  • have mortar and stone loss 
  • have only a few gratings 
  • have only a few holes 

 

PenTack® sealing is less useful at asphalt pavements if:

  • they have large gratings
  • it is cracked
  • there are problems with the base course 
  • there are too many mendings  
  • the pavement is rutted
